“35 Years of Friends: Celebrating The Music of Michael W. Smith” was a once in a career event as Producer. This was the culmination of many shows I’ve produced with Smitty over thirty years, with the added joy of working side by side with Chaz Corzine at MWS Group. 56 artists performing Michael’s hits, woven into a 3 1/2 hour tribute at the packed Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. The event was hosted by Kathie Lee Gifford and included performers Amy Grant, Charlie Daniels, the Gatlin Brothers, Jordin Sparks with Jordan Smith, MercyMe, Matthew West, Rascal Flatts, Avalon, The Oak Ridge Boys, Randy Travis with Steven Curtis Chapman, CeCe Winans, Nate Bargatze, Francesca Battistelli, Vince Gill with Wayne Kirkpatrick, Zach Williams, Sandi Patty with Natalie Grant, Ricky Skaggs with the Isaacs, Jason Crabb, Lee Greenwood, Wynonna, Mark Lowry, Jars of Clay, Danny Gokey, Nicole C. Mullen, Mark Hall, Jim Brickman, Bob Goff, and more.

56 Artists- frozen for one moment backstage!

Michael and I right after the show- a little sweaty (at least one of us!)

I'm head to head with Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell.

Bob Goff joined Kathie Lee, Michael and Debbie Smith on stage.

Big finale from my corner of stage, where we loaded the artists. Exhale!

Michael Tait, Wy, CeCe and Matt Maher. Wow.
